Still would like to get more info from you and Maceik. I don't completely understand the issue you two are having.

1) Are these users that were Exported from CB to phpBB?
2) Was the change to the sessions.php file applied?
3) Any MODS on phpBB?
4) Is this happening when loggin out of CB?

Found this article on phpbb.com you might try it... but I would still like to find out why those users are getting a user_id = -1...

(side question) Was the anonymous user deleted from the phpbb user table?

I just did one last test on my test site... If I screwed up (or deleted) the Anonymous user in the phpbb_users table then I could recreate the error... (i.e. changed userid from -1 to -19 in my test)

Sounds like the post I sent earlier should fix your problem... so the next question is do you know how that Anonymous record got messed up?

Hi Greg,

1) Users were exported from CB to phpBB. The phpBB was a fresh install with no users (other than me, the admin). My admin user/pw was same as my joomla user/pw.

2) I did change the sessions.php per instructions.

3) No mods on phpBB.

4) Users were getting a mySQL error upon trying to log out of CB. The logout error was:

[code:1]phpBB : Critical Error

Error obtaining user details

DEBUG MODE

SELECT * FROM phpbb_users WHERE user_id = -1

Line : 455
File : sessions.php
[/code:1]

Also, there were no anonymous users (that I can tell) in my database. I deleted no users.

typically the first user in phpbb_users is Anonymous with a user_id of -1...

try adding that user back in per the included link to the phpbb.com forum and let me know if that fixes it...

The user already existed. Just for kicks, I removed and replaced with the data from phpbb.com and it still didn't work.
