If there is a high probability both explorer and chrome will cause the bug then for most users this will not be a problem as these are the most popular browsers. At least I know it is a browser problem.

I just did another test using the three browsers. All failed, Firefox reverted to the update details page and Chrome and Explorer returned the image as in the attachment to the post above.

Do you have moderator approval turned on for image uploads? That looks a bit like a 'waiting for approval' image.

Thanks again Satchi. Yes when I turned off moderator approval for images then both Chrome and Explorer responded correctly but Firefox reverts to the update details page. Must be a software problem.
