how i fixed it-
simple enough, under uddeIM settings in the system tab, there is an option to "Overwrite Itemid". I checked that and no longer get the 404 error after replying to messages.
It IS a problem with your installation:
- you have forgotten to create a menu link to uddeIM
- you have an orphaned link in your trash (empty the trash)
- you use several links to uddeIM component on your site
I implemented the overwrite itemid function for user who do not setup their site properly as a quick'n'dirty fix.
