(SOLVED) uddeIM - no email notification

hello community

I have a strange problem and cannot find any reason for this behaviour.

uddeIM is set to "email notification" - allways when a new message comes into the mailbox

I tried every option, YES, NO, ALLWAYS, Option to be set by admin, etc... I disabled the general "stop email for test" option as well... and tried some modification in uddeim.php file as descriped in this forum - but I cannot get this feature working.

I realised the same problem before with JIM PMS - OK there have been less options for this but it did not work anyway.

I would appreciate if someone of you could help me here and hit me with a solution I may did not see.

Do not modify the code. The modification you mentioned is not for newer uddeIM versions.

When emails are not sent out you can try mosMail instead (see system setting tab). If this is also not working then your email configuration in Joomla might not be correct or when you are running your own server the mail configuration might be buggy (or your server is on a blocklist, so emails are blocked).

I tried both opportunities - MOSmail and phpmail - none is working!

my mail settings are working fine - the contact form etc. works perfectly...

I uninstalled, reinstalled the module and cleaned the source code - but no improvement.

What can I do? I also tried with CBEnhanced - sorry!
But it behaves the same way!

Any other suggestions?

Check following:

Email tab:
1.) Name -> "Messaging"
2.) Email address -> "a valid email address"
3.) Email stop -> No
4.) Email announcements -> Always

System tab:
1.) Mailsystem -> php mail

Check in the user preferences if you have enabled announcements! Otherwise you can configure in the backend whatever you like and you will not get an email.

And... Sometimes when no smart host is used to send emails, the "own" server might be on a remote blacklist (RBL) and emails from the host are trashed as spam, so check if the system is really able to send emails.

I have all settings you mentioned

My Server is not on blacklist because other components can send notifications (CB Notifications, Fireboard... etc)

I´m using a managed server from 1und1.de - and the most important point - the notifications from uddeIM are sent to my mailbox on 1und1 but my users who have mailaccounts from gmx.de and hotmail.com don´t get the notifications...

can be there a problem on mailheader?
I used also Clexus on this server, which could also deliver the notification mails...
