can't install 2.5 beta on joomla 1.7

i tried now to install the english only version and this works!!! so i would expect there is a problem in the other file???

There is an XML file which should not be part of the package. This should not make troubles but it seems that Joomla dev has again changed the installer behavior on Joomla 1.7. So basically it is a Joomla 1.7 bug, it should not recognize files that are not listed in the main XML installer file but it does :(

I fixed the archive some minutes ago. So I hope Joomla 1.7 users will not longer see this problem.

ok thx, but at www.slabihoud.de/software/id4001.htm is still version of 1/08/2011 visible. this is not working...

It is the correct archive. I did a "silent" update because the code is not affected.
