can't install 2.5 beta on joomla 1.7

i updated joomla 1.6.3 to 1.7. after this uddeim component was not working anymore in backend. i tried to install 2.5 beta version, this failed. after this in uninstalled the existing version 2.5.4 and tried again to install 2.5 beta.
i get this again: "JInstaller::Installation: File not exist /home5/farmatoo/public_html/khb/tmp/install_4e40e8ad167f9/com_uddeim_j16/site/admin.uddeim.php"

please some help?

Please read the FAQ (->problems installing uddeIM), e.g. PHP upload limit, tmp access rights, try local installations etc. You will also find some posts in the forums.

i tried different things. looked in whole FAQ document, but nothing solved my problem... i tried to install 2.4 and that is going correct. but opening uddeim in admin gives: "
Fatal error: Cannot make static method JToolBarHelper::addNew() non static in class mosMenuBar in /home5/farmatoo/public_html/khb/administrator/components/com_uddeim/admin.uddeimlib15.php on line 27" after hotfix for 2.4

possibly something wrong with the language? in frontend there is an error: "
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JLanguage::getBackwardLang() in /home5/farmatoo/public_html/khb/components/com_uddeim/uddeimlib15.php on line 174"

You wrote that you have installed 2.5beta in the original post.

Now you are writing that you try to install uddeIM 2.4 which is not J1.7 compatible on Joomla 1.7. Maybe you can answer your the last two posts yourself.

the fact is that i first installed 2.5beta. this gives this error: JFolder::verwijderen: Pad is geen map. Pad: /home5/farmatoo/public_html/khb/components/com_uddeim/views

after this in tried to uninstall the 2.4 first and after this install the 2.5beta but without success. so i tried to install 2.4 again and that goes perfect (no error messages) but as you said, the component is not working.

so none of the installations is working for me!!! maybe because i use dutch language???
