when I started to type a name the name box apperars at the bottom o f the screen, also when I choose a name from box the address became "undefined"

it seems that you have two problems:

1. the autocompleter:
This might be caused by the used Joomla main template that specifies global css styles for input and div elements.
Use an CSS debugger (Firebug or Web Developer Extension) and try to find out what styles are used and where they are defined. Either you have to fix this in the Joomla template or you can try to fix it in uddeIM's autocompleter css file.

2. "Undefined" error:
Maybe this is caused by a 3rd party component or module that uses Javascript that interfers with uddeIM. I bet that you are using another component that is also including MooTools. Use a Javascript debugger (maybe the Javascript console output also helps) to find the problem.

thanks but at 1.8 i dont have these problems? this is strange

The templates have not been changed over the last versions and so does the autocompleter. When you are using J1.5 you can try to switch off MooTools loading in uddeIM backend.

Hi:

I'm running 2.0 and would like to upgrade to 2.1 but I do not have the skills or knowledge to make the required changes to the database that is described in the read me.

How can I proceed? Do I need to utilize the services of a Joomla expert just to be able to upgrade the component? There must be an easier way to do this. Please advise.
