Update to CB Activity failed was created by uwe2023
Hi,

I tried to update my CB Activity from 5 to 6.0 via updating from the web. After 5-8 sec the installing process stops and and the installer shows the message "failed" in red. And: the plugin isn´t installed, event if there are 2 messages in green "CB Activity and Content-CB Activity - green - installed".

Whats the problem?

Probably just timed out. Larger installs may time out during migration as it's a lot of data to migrate. Migration is fail safe though and it will resume where it left off. Simply install it again for it to continue.

Hi Kyle,
I´m not sure.....I tried it via uploading and installing the plugin-package. But the same result...shortly after the installing process starts (in green) it turns to red and says "failed"..(e.g. attachment). And the site is not big.

Click it to expand its installer box and it'll show you the error for why it failed.

CB Activity Migration (oprhaned_activity) Failed! Please Re-Install to Retry. This looks like a database collation problem. CB Activity requires a unicode database collation with utf8mb4 encoding. Please run CB > Tools > Check Community Builder Database to attempt to correct your database collation. Alternatively use phpMyAdmin or similar to correct collations under the Operations tab. I run the database tool. Everything is green.
