[SOLVED] bug in private message system

Thanks for your answer, but please read, what I write!
When I use the Privat Message System, which is included with CB and configured for Uddeim like in the CB 2.0 tutorial, then the problem is there.
There are 2 possibilities to use it, this one in the menu is ok, this one you can place e.g. in the footer, has this problem.
When I use the uddeIM plugin, the problem is not there.
So I am willing to help make better CB 2.0.

I am unable to confirm your issue using the Quick Message tab. Do you have magic quotes enabled? How does the message look stored in the _uddeim database table? Please ensure you're using the latest CB 2.x nightly build found below.

Like I mentioned earlier, I did have a similar problem with UddeIM if I did NOT have the uddeim CB plugin published. Haven't had the time to verify it on a clean install, though, so I haven't posted it as a potential bug.

Jojo, you'd have to check the database table for this. If you haven't changed the database prefix, then it's jos_uddeim .

Within your _uddeim database table. Typically you'd view the table using phpmyadmin or whatever database management your host provides. You'll want to look for things like \\r or \\\r, which means there could be an escape issue on storage (paste the message source here in a code tag) or the issue could just be on display. Will be able to help more once I know which one it is. Unfortunately as i'm unable to duplicate it I'm not sure what more to suggest.

I've added a ticket to review our PMS plugin and compare it to the one included with UddeIM to see what upgrades we need to make.

I looked in _uddeim table.
Thre is all correct no \\r \\\r or like that. ony the written text.

I have to precisize: this additional r at the end of the line is only in the sent email, not in the pms inside the cb.
