Community Builder 1.8.1 Released!

Hope the thread hijacking is over - this is about CB 1.8.1 release ...

Ok. This is the first time I'm doing an update for anything, Joomla or CB, so how do I do this step by step since I dont want chaos happening?

Back up the DB and site files. I know this much.

Do I update Joomla 2.5.6 first or CB 1.8.1 first?

Should I use the links inside the Joomla Admin? There are 2 extension updates (one of which is CB 1.8.1 the other is an IP banning extension I hardly use). And there is a Joomla update link there too.

Ive hacked and modified quite a few things so not sure how things will turn out. Suggestions???

Yes update CB first.

If you have hacked CB code it will be over-written of course.
