Anybody tried CB Installation in Joomla 3.2

Anybody tried CB Installation in Joomla 3.2 was created by parkbenchbruce
Hi,
I have installed CB before but I think that the structure has changed. My method is to FTP the CB 1.91 zip file up to the website and extract it there. No problems with size in cpanel for uploads. I read the installation notes

If you want (for whatever reason) you may manually unzip the
com_comprofiler.zip file and upload via FTP the resulting comprofiler folder
(along with all its contents and structure) to your website folder:

{websitestructure}/administrator/components/com_installer/component
and then make sure that the Install directory: field contains
{websitestructure}/administrator/components/com_installer/component/comprofiler

So my structure was before no com_installer folder but now I created it com_installer/component/comprofiler.

My point is that there is no com_installer folder now in Joomla 3.2. Does this imply a change of extension method?

Any tips?

Guys,
I also tried the alternative method of uploading comprofiler.zip via Extension Upload and Install Extension which crashed the webpage.
From notes
Unzip CB distribution package
• Install comprofiler.zip using Joomla installer (make sure your php
upload_max_filesize parameter is at least 4M)
• Visit CB à Configuration and save settings

Borja,
Thanks for the post. I was waiting for version 2 to see if it was better than 1.91. I did ask on their forum but no timeframe is mentioned.
I noticed that Joomla has upgraded their version to 3.2.3. I will try this upgrade to see if any change. I suspect that there is a missing folder.
Thanks,
Bruce

FYI

I have no issues installing CB 1.9.1 (used the package upload) on Joomla 3.2.3.

Nant,
Thanks for the post. I successfully installed CB 1.9.1 to Joomla 3.2 via the Extension Manager using the Install from Web then selecting CB from the list.
No problems this way.
Not sure if these methods are using the same release.
Thanks,
Bruce
