I am using Joomla 1.5.2 Legacy, CB 1.1 and Captcha 2.0.1. GD (2.0.28 compatible) installed. The Captcha image does appear as it should in the back end.

My captcha image is not showing up on our registration page and while the audio image is and the pop-up appears correctly, you cannot play back any sound.

I have researched this and followed Nick's advice regarding switching the 'Session Handler' to 'None', but this has had no affect.

I am now at a loss to what can be done. Has anyone got any useful tips on where I'm going wrong?

The registration page is located at ~ smogchat.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers&Itemid=64

Many thanks in advance for any and all tips.

Cheers,

Neil

I am more than happy to provide Nick/Beat with backend access if needed. :side:

I would add that switching the 'Handler Session' to 'None' also stops my login module from functioning. You try to log out but the system won't let you. I use the standard J! Login Module as the CB one won't work with my system ~ I'd love to get this to work and switch it over as I'm sure that would help tremendously.

I too have the same setup:

I am using Joomla 1.5.2 Legacy, CB 1.1 and Captcha 2.0.1. GD (2.0.28 compatible) installed. The Captcha image does appear as it should in the back end or front end.

I worked myself through the posts but unfortunately they did not make much sense to me. Yes, I am new to Joomla.

Captcha 1 worked fine.

I set all the permissions

777 for the plug_cbcaptcha
666 for the files residing in the above folder
755 for all the folders (audio, fonts, images, js) and there respective files)

I do not have any hacks I believe ..... (SMF)

Would you be able to assist me? Thank you.

Petra
