Hi Alistair,

Admittedly, I've been busy with other obligations while others here have expressed interest in contributing to parts of the code that are obviously lacking. But I don't see any commits being made to the code on the forge yet.

Jeffason: The difference between this plugin and Nant's gallery is the protocol by which files are uploaded. Nant uses HTTP, and this plugin has a function that uses FTP, but it doesn't work very well with shared hosts yet. I've been racking my brain trying to find something out there that makes the FTP setup as simple as installing the plugin. The reason for FTP is because the typical MP3 has a file size over the fairly common HTTP upload maximum defauly of 2MB.

you dont need to use FTP, even on a shared host. With your custom php.ini put at the root of your website, you can change the max post size

I have been modifying nant's gallery for the last couple days, and its going grreat!

I have an inline button player in a table layout.

I started thinking about this and tinkering with the xspf player...it seems like it really isn't that hard to program, like Jeffason was trying to do. Basically you need a way for the users to upload a file, and basically the xspf player would grab the files and play them according to the profile. If I knew php it seems like an easy task. The ironic thing is I found out I work with some of the guys that created the xspf technology!!!

Has anybody see Artist Avenue? It seems to be a solution to what people are looking for, but it would be nice to get some tweaks done and a plug in for CB. What would be even better is this merged with GigCalendar using xspf as a plug-in for gig calnedar.
