Hello,

I am still having 'un-register' problems, all other CB + SMF issues have been resolved... as far as I am concerned

how do you un-register using this bridge? When I try the user is still in SMF.

You should use the bridge from joomlahacks.com. It comes with a cb plugin that syncs user management with CB.

I _AM_ using that bridge now, however it still tells me to use the CB login module. I have it set to use all CB things, including linking to the CB profiles and using JIM.

But I still do not know how to properly un-register, I am using a seperate un-register component right now but I know that is a mistake... am I missing something obvious here?

also, how would I make it so users can not view my /smf/ directly? It appears if you view that link directly, the bridge's CB links will not work, and thus users could register on the wrong system.

did you install the cb plugin available on that site? You should post this question on their forums. Wolverine is much more able to help you on this.

To prevent users from accessing /smf directly, you need to edit your htaccess file.

yea I did, and the forums say that it works when 'cb unregisters users', but on here the forums say that 'cb cannot unregister users, you have to use the unregister component', so that is what I am doing... is there a way to not use the component and have cb unregister all by itself?
