CB Facebook Connect 1.8 and CB Connect 2.0.1 have been released to address latest identified issues with previous releases.
CB Facebook Connect 1.8 now works with Internet Explorer browsers (previous version had issue due to Facebook API bug).
CB Connect 2.0.1 also now works with Internet Explorer browsers and has also fixed the redirect issue that was identified.
Both releases are considered mandatory upgrades and all installations should upgrade as soon as possible.
The CB Facebook Connect 1.7 and Twitter Connect 1.3 plugins have just been released as free upgrades for all Advanced, Professional and Developer members.

Both versions have all identified bugs fixed including the redirecting functionality and can be installed over existing previous versions for easy upgrade. No changes need to be made on the Facebook or Twitter application side. Documentation has also been updated.
And as with all our CB plugins, these work natively on all versions of Joomla (including Joomla 1.7 using CB 1.7.1)!
The CB Connect 2.0 plugin, available to Professional and Developer members, includes all functionalities of these 2 plugins and much more, like user-allowed synchronization of CB Fields to Facebook profile, LinkedIn and Windows Live logins and linking and more CB profile integrations.
CB Facebook Connect 1.6 has just been released.
Version 1.6 now uses Facebook oauth2 library and now supports first login and subsequent login redirects for Facebook users. The detailed documentation included in the package has also been updated.
As Facebook has depreciated and is not longer supporting its previous library, this is a mandatory upgrade for all previous versions.
All Developer, Professional and Advanced members can download this new version and just install over their existing environment for easy upgrade. No changes need to be made on the Facebook application side.
Version 1.6 can also be purchased as a one-time product purchase from our CB Add-ons page (although membership subscription provides the best value and free upgrades).
And as with all our CB plugins, this works natively on all (1.5 and 1.7) versions of Joomla!

ersion 2.0 of the CB Auto Actions plugin has just been releaased and is available as a free upgrade for all Professional members.
The CB Auto Actions plugin is a very powerful tool that has absorbed functionality previously available in other incubator add-ons.
This release addresses 4 identified issues and also implements the following 5 new features:
- Create AlphaUserPoints user if needed (Joomla 1.7.x only)
- Custom URL strings for redirect model (redirect URL strings supported: "return", "goback" and "reload")
- Added code model (this allows execution of inline HTML, PHP, JS, jQuery and CSS loading)
- Added user group model (allows you to add/remove user to Joomla ACL group)
- Action type description in list display
The user group model feature supported in this release opens the door to many new use case possibilities. For example, you can create an action to add a user to a Joomla ACL group if a specific CB field criteria is satisfied during registration.
