Joomla 4.1.5 and 3.10.10 are here!

Joomla 4.1.5 and Joomla 3.10.10 have just been released last week!

Both are maintenance releases for previous Joomla releases and smooth upgrades.

And during this time, with the Joomla 4.2 Beta 2 already released too, Joomla is moving full speed ahead!

Joomla 4.1.5 includes 53 minor improvements and bug-fixes. Main items are:

• Improved inline help
• Improved categories selection in blog layouts
• PHP 8.1 deprecation warnings fixes

Joomla 3.10.10 has 2 minor bug-fixes:

• Numeric tags links fixed
• Improved messages and upgrade behavior when the host's PHP and MySQL versions are outdated compared to Joomla 4's prerequisites.

Joomla 4.1.5 and 3.10.10 are recommended easy upgrades for their respective versions..

Community Builder 2.7.2 latest build and all Joomlapolis add-ons run just fine on these solid new Joomla releases.

Joomla 4.1.4 is here!

Joomla 4.1.4 has just been released!

It is a smooth maintenance releases for previous Joomla 4 releases.

And with the Joomla 4.2 alpha 3 preview also already released with last additions for next Joomla 4.2, the Joomla future is brighter than ever!

Joomla 4.1.4 includes 31 minor improvements and bug-fixes. One of them is a minor security improvement for https-only websites, Main improvements are:

• Adding scheduler sort by last run
• Showing workflow stage names in article list view
• Setting 'secure' flag in session cookies if TLS in enforced
• Fixing nested items re-ordering
• Fixing toggle chevron in module menu assignment
• Fixing "save to copy" for menus

Joomla 4.1.4 is a recommended easy upgrade.

Community Builder 2.7.2 latest build and all Joomlapolis add-ons run just fine on this solid new Joomla release.

Joomla 4.1.3 and Joomla 3.10.9 are here!

Joomla 4.1.3 and Joomla 3.10.9 have just been released on schedule, 6 weeks after Joomla 4.1.2 and 3.0.8!

Both are smooth maintenance releases for previous Joomla releases.

We are happy to see Joomla continuing to pick up momentum and keep its legendar dependability.

Amd with the Joomla 4.2 alpha 2 preview also already released, the Joomla future is bright!

Joomla 4.1.3 includes 93 improvements and bug-fixes, main ones being:

• Some PHP 8.1 improvements, some of them contributed by Beat
• Improved SVG upload
• Language improvements
• Improved child template creation
• Fixed scheduler database query
• Cassiopeia SCSS variables got the !default flag

Joomla 3.10.8 contains 7 bug-fixes, main ones being:

• Corrected date format in Last-Modified http header
• Added dedicated string for "I do not agree" over the general JNO
• Updated Ca cert files as of 26.04.2022
• Improved remind and password request and reset messages

Both Joomla 4.1.3 and 3.10.9 are recommended easy upgrades.

Community Builder 2.7.2 latest build and all Joomlapolis add-ons run just fine on all of these solid new Joomla releases.

CB Paid Subscriptions (CBSubs) 4.6.1 comes with one major new CBSubs Options plugin, 1 new features and 3 minor bug fixes.

CB Paid Subscriptions (CBSubs GPL) 4.6.1 is a features and maintenance release that is a recommended upgrade for all sites.

CBSubs 4.6.1 includes one major new CBSubs Options plugin, 1 new feature, an improved payment service provider gateway and 3 minor bug fixes. Main new items are:

• CBSubs Options plugin allows to propose various duration and price possibilities for user subscription plans. It also allows to offer various options to membership subscriptions or to merchandise products. This allows to offer options to users while selecting their plan or product, and then to manage them right from their user profile.
  
  Letting users choose their subscription duration and corresponding price is a major help to users, and thus to sales volume,
  
  Letting users add options to their subscription plans and merchandises and then to manage them allows to offer and sell added value services and options seamlessly right within the product/subscription plan, which is beneficial to users and to the average sale price.
  
  Kyle has a detailed blog with many screenshots about this new CBSubs Options plugin.
• User Subscription plans have now an Allow Login setting (default is on), which is available when the "Allow Free Registered Users (without subscriptions)" global setting is set to No. This allows to control in a fine-grained way which plans cannot provide login, and to accordingly propose possible re-activations when a user with expired plans attempts to login.
  
  A big Thank you to Kyle (krileon) for the implementation of the new CBSubs Options plugin. Thank you also to our community member michelq for his suggestion 2 months ago, as well as to his generous donation, and to Beat for implementing this nice new feature within a month, that got immediately available in the nightly releases and now in CBSubs 4.6.1 stable.

CBSubs 4.6.1 also fixes 3 minor bugs and improves the compatibility and reliability with the QuickPay payment services provider.

CBSubs 4.6.1 is a recommended upgrade for all sites, and is very stable, as all changes were released continuously in our nightly releases. It is also a highly recommended upgrade for sites using the QuickPay payment processor.

CBSubs 4.6.1 requires latest Community Builder 2.7.2 release or later.

CBSubs 4.6.1 is fully compatible with Joomla 3.10-4.1, PHP 7.4-8.1 and MySQL 5.6-8.0,

CBSubs 4.6.1 is available in our Downloads section and simply requires an active subscription to CBSubs or a Developer membership.

CB Paid Subscriptions (CBSubs) 4.6 comes with 10 new features and 14 minor bug fixes.

CB Paid Subscriptions (CBSubs GPL) 4.6 is a compatibility and maintenance release.

CBSubs 4.6 includes 10 new features, of which the four most important are:

• Support for Joomla 4.1 and PHP 8.1.
  
  
• Possibility to display specific modules, including up-selling and cross-selling information (in content modules) and other modules in all payment phases, like for “Payment basket” display, “Invoicing address”, “Payment information entry”, “Payment complete” and “Cancel basket” pages. This is done through thanks to new Joomla menu items for CB Paid Subscriptions, leveraging the power of Joomla menus. Joomla menu items allow to display specific modules and content and to perform other menu-dependent actions on corresponding pages.
  
  To use this new feature, simply add new Joomla menu entries of type “Community Builder - plugin”, choose plugin “CB Paid Subscriptions” and for “Do” just below, choose one of the new “Internal” pages of CB Paid Subscriptions, listed above, for the menu item. The menu item does not need to be, and in most cases should not be, visible (it can be in a hidden menu). Then create or edit corresponding Joomla modules, and in “Menu assignment” tab, assign the menu items when the module should display. Modules will then automatically display as the user goes through the payment process.
  
  Hint: You can use the CB Content module to display conditional content that can depend on user profile fields, or include one of many substitutions and other possible conditions. This allows for a truly individual checkout experience.
  
  A big Thank you to our community member liaskas for his suggestion 3 weeks ago and to Kyle (krileon) for implementing this great new feature next day, that got immediately available in the nightly releases and now in CBSubs 4.6 stable.

For sites with auto-recurring payments, there are two noteworthy improvements in this release:

• A user can now cancel the auto-recurring payment without cancelling the subscription. There is also a new setting in main CBSubs settings, “Display”/“Unsubscribe” tab called `Show “Cancel Auto-recurring Payments” button', which defaults to ”Yes”, where you can disable this new feature if needed.
• From now on, when a user is deleted from the admin area or by our GDPR feature "Delete user account", all auto-recurring payment subscriptions on payment processors are stopped too.

CBSubs 4.6 also fixes 14 minor bugs and improves the compatibility and reliability with the QuickPay payment services provider.

CBSubs 4.6 is a recommended upgrade for all sites, and is very stable, as all changes were released continuously in our nightly releases. It is also a highly recommended upgrade for sites using the QuickPay payment processor.

CBSubs 4.6 requires latest Community Builder 2.7.2 release or later, and thus, as announced since a year, also requires Joomla 3.10+, PHP 7.4+, and MYSQL 5.6+ (or MariaDB 10.x). This will now allow for code modernization and exciting new features and add-ons.

CBSubs 4.6 is fully compatible with Joomla 3.10-4.1, PHP 7.4-8.1 and MySQL 5.6-8.0,

CBSubs 4.6 is available in our Downloads section and simply requires an active subscription to CBSubs or a Developer membership.

CBSubs 4.6 also deprecates the authorize.net and SwissPostFinance payment gateways, as authorize.net AIM and ARB are deprecated not supported anymore by authorize.net, and SwissPostFinance has completely changed its own proprietary payment providing system. Users are invited to consider other supported payment processors. This is a smooth task as CBSubs can handle multiple Payment Service Providers simultaneously.
