If you are already on the Joomla Bug Squad (JBS) and have been testing Joomla 3.2 then all you need to do is send a private message to Nick (aka nant) with your Joomlacode username and a list of Joomla 3.2 features of bugs you have tested. Nick will investigate and respond with your 30% off discount coupon code.
If you are not yet a tester and really want to help, then you need to spend some time going through the following:
- first of all you need an account on joomlacode.org
- then you need to study the Joomla Bug Squad documentation
- study the Testing Checklist
- browse through the Joomla features tracker
- Use the Choose query: Quick Filter drop down to filter all status = Pending or status = Ready for review items
- Join the Google Bug Squad forum group
There is a great new tool to help you test new pull requests. To test a feature, just download the patchtester component and test immediately any feature directly from the latest corresponding github version for the corresponding pull-request !
Once done testing, simply reply to the tracker item and reply with your tests in details, preceeded by a @test success or failed line! Each feature request needs at least 2 successful tests (the more the better) to be included.
If you have any issues testing or need assistance, just post to the Google Bug Squad forum group and aomeone from the test team will help you out.
