Keepalive with CBLogin

Keepalive with CBLogin was created by peter.kolinek
Hi all,

On pages where CBLogin is enabled, the keepalive.js script is loaded, which effectively breaks Joomla's session timeout. This happens also when user is logged on. When I disable CBLogin for some pages, keepalive.js is not loaded and such pages expire session as configured.

Is there some reason why CBLogin loads keepalive.js?

Can keepalive be configured or disabled for CBLogin?

Thanks for any hints.

It's supposed to be loaded by login modules. Joomlas will do the exact same thing. It keeps the session from expiring while the user is still using the site. No it can not be turned off. A users session is not supposed to expire while the user is using the site; why would you want that behavior? That would suddenly cause the user to logout while they're still browsing. Only way to remove that is to create a template override for your CB Login Module and remove it there as it's loaded in the modules template file.
