hi
i want create step by step registration.
i read www.joomlapolis.com/documentation/18381-tabbed-step-based-registration-forms
and in that you say install CB Conditional , but i can create step by step without it, simply by set Step by Step mode to yes,
1-why i must use that?according your Doc, CB Conditional need for hide or show some field or tab related other.but i don't need that.am i right?
2-is it possible to set position avatar field in out of flow step by step in the top of all steps fixed and user can upload his avatar in each step he want?
3-how can i show some text as a description in each step to help user what he must do in this step(not for each field)? when i use Description box in the tab edit, it show nothing in that's step.
4-how can add class to "next" or "previous" buttons?
5-how can add class to steps row buttons?

You don't need CB Conditional for step by step anymore. It's directly built in CB and can be enabled in CB > Configuration > Registration. That article is nearly 5 years old.

2-is it possible to set position avatar field in out of flow step by step in the top of all steps fixed and user can upload his avatar in each step he want?

No.

Custom HTML fields.

4-how can add class to "next" or "previous" buttons?

No.

5-how can add class to steps row buttons?

No.

in this way, each user has one additional custom html in the database, is there any other better way?

You are wrong.
HTML fields are not stored in the database.
