Different "views" of profile image was created by cmendez
Hi, In the website I am building we would like be able to see the profile image duplicated with different sizes depending on where it is used. Like facebook(see attachment) where you have the profile image in top bar menu, in the left side bar and at the top of the news feed. It is the same image but with different sizes:

I appreciate you advice on how to do this.

We already provide a full and thumbnail size. We do not provide different sizes of images beyond that and do not plan to. Thumbnail size shouldn't really be any larger than 100x100 and should scale down perfectly fine to 32x32, etc.. usages purely using CSS. Userlist display uses thumbnail size as do most locations outside of profile.

Thanks Krilleon. Then the question would be how could you insert de Avatar anywhere I want Joomla and how to select to use the thumbnail size or the full size.

Another way to put it, how can reuse or invoke the cb avatar image in my web site.

If the location you want to insert it supports substitutions you'd just substitute in the userlist view of the avatar with the below.

[cb:userfield field="avatar" reason="list" /]

This could even be in a CB Content Module as well for example. See the below substitution tutorial for further usage information.
