I've enabled this option and each time a new user registers on my website I have to approve his/her profile picture.
This does not happen at all when the user is willing to update his image. First of all I do not receive any message in my email. Second, if I go in the backend I don't see any image loaded up (but the user told me he did it)...
What did it happen?
Use the CB Workflows module, which provides a link to image approval. You can approve images there. Otherwise you can from backend CB > User Management user edit, but it's not as easily noticeable (is a dropdown option for the avatar field). Moderator notifications need to be enabled within CB > Configuration > Moderation and your user within CB > User Management needs to be configured to receive moderator emails.
