Date field value edit in backend was created by piglet
I have created a new field of data type.
When I edited its value for user in backend I have noticed that entering a new date and saving the profile changes value -1 day.
Example: I set 01.01.2015 and save user profile. Field value is set to 31.12.2014.
Screenshots from trying to set value 02.01.2001

Setting a new value:

Setup:
CB 2.1.0+build.2016.12.28.01.24.32.d61585943
J 3.6.5
PHP 5.6.12
MySQLi 5.5.51-38

Replied by krileon on topic Date field value edit in backend
This isn't possible. No offsetting is being applied to Date fields on display or on store in CB 2.1. This is like the 2nd or 3rd report of this happening and am at a complete loss as to the cause. Is it only off by 1 day when saving in backend? What browser are you using? What is the timezone set on your computer (this usage is JS based and will use your browsers timezone)?
