I know this is a very old topic, but I was searching for a solution to this problem and finally figured it out. The profile title is set on line 282 of comprofiler.html.php. Hope this helps someone else.
Please do not bump a 4 year old topic. Create a new topic and reference it at the top if you feel it is relevant.
You can change the browser page title using your Joomla menu item to CBs profile page as we support that parameter now. We will also parse substitutions for that parameter as well. The alternative is to use CB Auto Actions and act on onAfterUserProfileDisplay with a Code action and Method set to Page Title.
