Is there a valid "Registering a user through CB API" tutorial ?

Hello,

For the needs of my clients, I have to register users in an internal Joomla! 3.x component.

I found this tutorial : www.joomlapolis.com/support/tutorials/120-api-usage/18362-registering-a-user-through-cb-api

But it seems it's outdated, as I see Joomla! users fiels which are not defined in Joomla! 3.x.

Is there somewhere where I can find a similar tutorial for Joomla! 3.x ?
