Turn off confirmation emails

Nope - passwords are hashed to database and can only be used cleartext immediately.

Hello guys i see that this is an old thread but i have somewhat of the same issue.

I do not want the confirmation resend.

Basically when a user registers, they receive a very well formatted email with html and css all over the place.

The issue comes when the user decides not to check their email (as indicated on the screen to activate their account) and try to log-in. That sends a reconfirmation email, which then is sent in plain text. NO HTML, NO CSS, but i can see in the body of the resent confirmation email all my code.

I want to disable the resend / the second and subsequent emails that are sent.

Please help.
