No Confirmation emails or welcome emails received.

Hi,

I am not sure where to put this but I have a problem. People are trying to sign up with my site but when the do they don't recieve a confirmation email or an email saying that the admin has to approve your account. people think tha tthe forms on my site don't work but they do. Now, in the configuration section of community build I set it up so that people can receive emails from my site.


Can someone help. People I work with are asking me questions about this. I really need a good answer.

Does Joomla Mass email work on your site?

What are the settings for the two parameters:

Require Admin Approval
Require Email Confirmation

in the CB -> Configuration -> Registration Tab?

Also check parameters in your:
CB -> Configuration -> Moderation tab.

I am certain mass mail works. I have it set to send to all user groups. However in CB registration tab what els am I supposed to put? for example where it says " registration email address and registration reply to"...what is supposed to go there. Do I leave that blank or no?

Aren't the field explanations next to each parameter clear enough?

No, you should not leave blank.

This typically is a valid email address on your website domain (admin@mydomain.com or something else that is valid).

Sorry. I did look at the side explanations. Another thing. In Mass mail... all you need is to set the user groups am I correct? now that I think about I thought I might as anyway.
