create a unique field at registration was created by anthonytrose
Hi,

I'm trying to limit who can register on my site and in order to do this i thought of email out the members of our society an email asking them to register and also supplying them with a unique word which they must enter in a field supplied at registration. Is it possible to create a field which will only accept one specific word?

I did setup a text field were the word entered had to be more the 6 characters and must include UPPERCASE, lowercase, numbers, and a special character, but this could quite easily be broken. Is there any other way?

Thank you for your assistance.
Anthony

Yes, create a text field and change the validation to Regular PERL Expression and set the regex to something like \WORD_HERE\. This method uses regex to validate if inexperienced with regex, please search before constructing.

I have a text field that will compare the value entered by the user with database table records. i want to use ajax to validate and return a message to the user. if the entered value is correct, it should notify the user by placing a green correct or valid. if the value is not correct then it should say invalid. I need help to modify this cb text field.
