Error when replying to a message

Every time I receive a message an attempt to reply I get a blank screen and have to hit the back button and there is no indication that the reply was sent even though the reply appears to be sent OK.

I installed 1.6 then upgraded to 1.7 that appeared to work OK

Seems that the redirect does not work. Please ensure that menu link points has the correct ItemId (see the FAQ).

I could not find what you were talking about in FAQ.

That is correct. The original message has been trashed, so you cannot go back.

As I said before, check if the menu link uses the correct ItemId. When you reinstall uddeIM, it gets a new ItemId and the menu link uses still the old one.

I will see what I can find but I do not know what a menu link or an itemID is or where/or how to fix it. To my knowledge I never put anything in like that and if I did I don't know where.

I know I am stupid about this but I am trying to learn. Sometimes I wonder if I ever will figure this Joomla thing out but I know I could never create anything any other way. I am NOT a programmer.

Solved I deleted the Menu in Main Menu for uddeIM and created a new one. That appears to work and have been able to reply to messages and it works. I think I figured out what itemID was or at least I think so. There was a number at the top of the menu that had a 78 in it after I deleted it and created a new one it said 79 I guess that was the ID you were talking about but there was no way to change it that I could find.
