Links to Profiles in uddeIM

J1.5.9/CB1.2/UddeIM1.6/Joomla SEF settings: Sef:On/modRewrite-On/Add suffix to url:On

I have been using UDDEIM for a few years now and came across this problem after upgrading.

The avatar and text links inside the inbox will not link to the profiles.When clicked they go to the site's homepage. With normal routing of the url (through Cb profile or author links, for example) the link to Webmaster's profile is this:

www.xxx.com/profile/userprofile/Webmaster.html

The routing when the link is clicked from inside of Udde is this:

www.xxx.com/component/comprofiler/userprofile/Webmaster.html

The Udde component is including the comprofiler component in the url. Any one know of a hack to make it write the proper url?

Do you use any 3rd party SEF?

The links have not been changes in uddeIM 1.0 to 1.6.

I use just plain joomSEF that comes with 1.5.9. joomSEF is giving me problems in CB too (again). I have it turned off for now and everything works as advertised...

Having exact problem with profile links in UddeIM inbox. I don't use 3rd party SEF, just Joomla! core SEF.

/profile/userprofile/name.html
changes to
/component/comprofiler/userprofile/name.html

Any ideas how to fix it?

Have you checked if the Itemid is correct? You have to create a menu item (you find a very big section about this issue in the FAQ) so a correct link can be created.

When nothing helps you can try to override the Itemid in the System tab and try to enter the correct value (some people reported that "0" might also work but in my opinion this is wrong to pass a 0 as Itemid to Joomla).

Yes, ItemID is correct.

And overriding the ItemID changed link to the message, not CB profile.
/component/uddeim/?task=show&messageid=43
and
/inbox.html?task=show&messageid=43

So, I got no clues yet :huh:
