Designers wanted... was created by slabbi
Hi,

uddeIM is now the most popular and top rated PMS on Joomla.org with over 100,000 downloads worldwide!

Unfortunately the design of most templates is not up to date and does not live up to (the high) expectations of users of this powerful component have.

Maybe you have already created a nice uddeIM template for your website? Or you have changed an exsting one? Or you are interested in creating a new template?

If so feel free to contact me via PMS or email.

The very latest language files can be found in the trunk:
joomlacode.org/gf/project/com_uddeim/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=%2Ftrunk%2Fcom_uddeim%2F

Thanks very much!

I'm curious how you're going to handle design changes.

I have completely changed the look and feel of the display pages by customizing the code in the PHP files themselves. This is because the template system only seems to account for images and CSS and not the actual layout.

My custom changes were made to:

archive.php
inbox.php
outbox.php
trashcan.php

How would such changes be propagated?

Screen shot included to show example (actual messages blurred)...

Good question.

I have some plans for that but that requires some major code changes (separate code from layout) so styling wouldn't be restricted to CSS changes.

Maybe this will be one of the features of next version of uddeIM.

Sounds good - when you do that, I'd be happy to make my layout available.
