Migration from Joomla 1.0 to 1.5 was created by stumpy_dan
Hi there

I am just wonderign what the migration path is for Uddeim when moving from Joomal 1.0 to 1.5. Any guidance appreciated?

There is nothing special to do. Install the same version on J1.5 and restore your database. When you have back'ed up your config with the internal function then you can restore the setting on the same way.

Hi...

Do you mean restore the DB from the Joomla 1.0 install to the Joomla 1.5 install?

Would that not create corrpution?

No, not all tables.

Just save and restore the tables prefixed "uddeim_". Maybe it is required to convert the saved *.SQL file into UTF8 before restoring.

Yeah that's what I meant as well.
current site is 1.0.15
target is 1.5.8
