I upgraded my UddeIM a couple months ago, and did realize that I needed to also upgrade the database. I wrote down the version I had upgraded from, so that I could have a friend help me upgrade the database (I don't trust myself with that...)

But now I can't find the paper I wrote the old version number!!! So I don't know what instructions to ask my friend to follow from the read me! I have torn up my house, to no avail. That little note to myself seems to have evaporated.

I know, I am such a twit.

But am I just screwed on this? Is there any way to fix this? Any way to completely uninstall UddeIM so that I can re-install it correctly? I really want to use it, but it just throws errors now without the database upgrade.

Any ideas or suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

In the component manager you will see the version number you have installed.

When uddeIM is 1.1 or newser you can also use the "Check for updates" feature in the maintenance tab.

Or compare your database structure with the structure given in the XML file.

Or remove uddeIM, delete all tables prefixed with "uddeim" and start from the scratch (all data will be lost of course).
