How can I change the language?

PMS system comes only in English. I found that with the new installation of uddeIM no language file at all was installed. There is a "hotfix"zip-file with a lot of language files, but where do they have to be uploaded? I put the whole directory "language" into the "com_uddeim"-directory, but obviously that was the wrong choice.
Can anyone help? Unfortunately I cannot find any language installation guide on the maker's website nor here. Could not be so difficult, could it? Anyway I have no idea, I am afraid.

The component package contains 25 language files. Maybe the installation was not complete?

Yes, I know. The installation went successfully, no problem, no error. Since it seemed impossible to switch languages I took a closer look and could not find any language file on the server although they are in the package.
First idea was to simply upload the whole language directory I found in the zip file, but sadly that did not help. So I guess I uploaded it to he wrong directory. But which one is right?

The language files are stored in the admin directory not the user directory.

uddeIM uses the same langage file as Joomla does. When a language file for the configured (Joomla) language does not exist uddeIM uses englisch.

Oh, I see. So Ilooked in the wrong place. Anywayf the problem is not solved yet. The language files are where they are supposed to be, standard language is German - uddeIM works in English:(

Usually it should load german.php which includes germanf.php. You can delete german.php and rename germanf.php to german.php.
