How to disable uddeIM for one user

Hello,

I have been attempting to remove a user or at least disable a user from sending uddeIM's to others but have not found this ability; is it in fact possible to block a user?

A user is automatically blocked, when you block him in Joomla.

I just found this not to be true.
I sent a site wide message and blocked users got emails. Can this be looked in to please. I do not want to make this mistake again. Especially since a few of these people were blocked for abusive behavior.

Thats something completely different.

1. Users cannot send messages to blocked users.

2. System/General messages are also send to blocked users since these messages may contain important information even for blocked users (that was an explicit request from several admins).

When a user should also not receive system messages you have to delete the account.
