Wow, that piece of code contains so many bugs that it will never run and have never run.

I did a cleanup of the code annd this is what I have now:


Note that I have not tested the code. I do not now how AdsManager calls these functions (maybe using the register at the very beginning of the code). Maybe this is not required (don't know). If it does not work, you can try to comment this line (the line with the register method).

The debugging can do someone else.

Hello Slabbi, and thanks for the quick response. I tried out the updated plugin you posted. If the register method line was left in, I would just get a blank page. If I commented it out, it would give me a message saying the PM got sent, but it wouldn't actually send anything. I posted a message on the joomprod forums. Hopefully we can get some people from there and from here together to work this out. Thanks anyways.

I don't expect it is working since I was not able to test it but if not it should be easy to fix since it uses the same code I use for my CB plugin.

It is also important that Adsmanager uses the correct call parameters, e.g. when system messages are sent the sender must have an sender ID (usually the user ID of the user who sends the system message; a "0" would be wrong here).

Ok, this one is object oriented, so it should not interfere with uddeIM. I also removed all unnecessary code, so you guys should be able to make it run.

Thank you so much, I am glad to hear it's working! Unfortunately I am not sure how to set it up so the adsmanager starts using it... it still uses the same for "send an email" as "contact via private massage". I don't see any setting for that apart from chosing use or don't use private messaging. That doesn't help...
Would anyone please be so kind and suggest what to do? Thank you!
