How r all of you?
well, i have a social network website based on cb, i have activated the notification method when a user send a private message, a notification is sended to her/his email account he/she registered with.
the notifications messages are not being delivered, windows live hotmail is marking these notifications like spam.if every user when are registering they choose if they want to receive notifications, then is not spam.
someone has happened by this??? what do you suggest me to do??
all of the notifications are sended from a account of my domain. and my ip/domain is bloked.
do you use a shared web hosting account or do you run your own MTA? This is a common problem some providers have which have some - lets says - not so reputable customers.
When one customer sends spam the server IP will be blocked by one or more RBLs. The problem: lots of providers use these RBLs to block spam and so not only the spammer but all sites/users on this server cannot send emails anymore.
You can e.g. ask your provider to give the server a new IP or you can switch to a different server.
