For some reason I can't install this on my joomla system. I am using 1.5 RC4 and I keep getting a

Error 500 - Internal server error

An internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.

everytime I try to install it. I have the newest version of CB as well. Any thought on what I should do?

Thats a problem with your server, maybe a problem with your .htaccess or - when you have a root server - a problem with the php.ini or the apache configuration.

Is there no way to find out whats actually going on here to help me install this package or am I S.O.L.? Or is it possible to install this manually?

This error means that your problem is *not* the uddeIM package. There are several possibilities: In most cases it is an server configuration error (e.g. an mistake in you .htaccess file). Maybe your upload limit is set to 1mb (uddeIM package is a little big bigger), but there are several other possibilities.

Ya I understood that it wasnt the package causing the issue. Dont think it is the file sixe because I know I can upload more the 1M because I have already done so.

Sorry I am a little new to all this website stuff. I like to play around with it more as a hobbie and as a design perspective not as a coder.

Would it be advisable to use the .htaccess file that came with Joomla?
