Problem with UddeIM 3.7 Menue was created by Fischkopp
Hi,

I have a Problem with the back link to the forum in UddeIM 3.7 menue.

The link shows at: "Domain/index.php/component/kunena/" but the right link to the forum is: "Domain/index.php/forum/". Therefore, the user receive a 404 error

I couldn't find any option in the admin area to change that link. Can you tell me where I can change it?

Regards

Fischkopp

Hi
I have the same issue myself.
Anyone who knows how to fix this issue?

I have Kunena 4.0.3 installed.

If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem cannot be solved, worrying will do you no good.

Might be the same problem:
www.joomlapolis.com/forum/25-uddeim-plugin-and-component/230670-uddeim-y-sh404sef-does-not-work-sending-messages

"index.php/forum/" can never be a correct link when SEF is working properly.

Hi
Perhaps I was not very clear (which I should)my misstake.

In Global Configuration => SEO I have search engine friendly URLs set to No (see pic 1)
The url I get when clicking on Tab New is " http://My_Domain/index.php?option=com_uddeim&task=new&Itemid=723 " which is correct and working.
When setting the search engine friendly URLs to Yes I'll have this url " http://My_Domain/index.php/uddeim?task=new " which is alsoo fine everything works.
(Everything within UddeIM is working correctly)

In Global Configuration => SEO I have search engine friendly URLs set to No (see pic 1)
The url I get when clicking on Tab "Forum" is " http://My_Domain/forum/recent "
When setting the search engine friendly URLs to Yes I'll have this url " http://My_Domain/forum/recent "

Any idea why this is happening or any help with this is much appriciated.

I do not have any sh404sef installed.
I use the plugins for CB 2.0.x
CB 2.0.X (latest nightly build)
Kunena 4.0.3 installed.

If the problem can be solved why worry? If the problem cannot be solved, worrying will do you no good.

Have you enabled the .htaccess file that comes with Joomla?

Having "index.php" in an URL is not really SEF.

Hi
Thank you for pointing this out to me.
You learn something new every day :)

The .htacess file was not enabled, I enabled the file and now everything is working as expected.

Huge thank you.
