Updated and now errors: "wrong config"

After installing the new version I am getting this in joomla backend:

Wrong confguration file found!

Version found: 2.6
Version expected:

Converting configuration...

Done!

Do you use Kunena? Please disable the uddeIM integration in Kunena.

Yep, using Kunena and I took your advice and disabled the plugin and still no workie.

Any other suggestions?

I wish i could figure out how to get some kind of notification system for messages. Right now my site has none, even though I have selected all different ways like; popup, email etc etc. I get none though.
