New message onsite notification...

Hi there,

I'd like to include a new message notification in a module that I can use on my site. At the moment I'm using the CB Login module which incorporates new PM notifications but I will be changing my login module and would like to custom style my message notification, e.g. different icon, colours etc.

Is this easy to do with UddeIM? Has anyone done this?

I found Uddeim Simple Notifier and still can't get a custom icon to work it just shows a broken link. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
