Ok, maybe. i think i am in big shit now and maybe have to reinstall all files and use the old db dump once more.

Hi again!
I have reinstalled everything from a fresh working site. It is the same error message all over.
I used the tools in the CB admin section and got following result. maybe there is a lead for further tips from you.

Syncronize users:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /customers/7/a/e/euroskolen.no/httpd.www/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_pmsuddeiminbox/pms.showinbox.php on line 1

Check CBdatabase:

Checking Community Builder Database:

All Community Builder comprofiler_field_values table fieldid rows all match existing fields.

All Community Builder comprofiler_field_values table rows link to correct fieldtype fields in comprofiler_field table.

All Community Builder fields from comprofiler_fields are present as columns in the comprofiler table.

Checking Community Builder folders:
Avatars and thumbnails folder is Writeable.
All Core CB mandatory basics Database is up to date.

Core CB mandatory basics database checks done. If all lines above are in green, test completed successfully. Otherwise, please take corrective measures proposed in red.

Check user data base

Checking Users Database:

All Community Builder comprofiler table rows have links to user table.

All users table rows have links to comprofiler table.

users table has no zero id row.

comprofiler table has no zero id row.

All rows in comprofiler table have user_id columns identical to id columns.

All users table rows have ACL entries in user_usergroup_map table.

All ACL user_usergroup_map table rows have corresponding entries in users table.

I receive no database in the bottom of the plugin check

Please give me some more hints

PHP thinks it reaches the end of the file, in most cases it cannot be read or has been corrupted. I cannot help you here since it is not a problem with uddeIM.

OK. I solved it!

I changed the start to <? and added ?> in the last line. Works like h....
Why I had to make these changes when I changed to a new web area at the same provider i dont know - and i actually dont care.
I have seen from the forum posts and after Googling the net, that there are a lot of people struggling with the same problem.

Anyway thanks for the guidance!
