uddeim install problem

I'm running Joomla 3.1 with CB and GJ.

When I install uddeIM, it reports success but when I click on the continue button, I get a 404 page. I've tried both the regular and English-only versions with the same result.

Please install the correct package for Joomla 3.0+.

I'm using uddeIM_3.0_j16_unzip1st zip file which appears to me to be the latest.

Interesting, since there is no "english_only" for Joomla 3.0+ package. I provided such package for the earlier versions. When you have installed the wrong version before you have to clean up the Joomla database before you install the correct package. Please check the FAQ how to do this.

There seems to be a communication problem, Slabbi, which is why I sent the screenshots and attached another here.

I never said there was an "english_only" Joomla 3.0+ package, but rather an English-Only uddeIM component as well as the larger language version.

I have installed, as I said, what appears to be the LATEST version of uddeIM, so unless you can point me to a later version, there's nothing to "clean up" in the Joomla database.

The 2nd screenshot shows a NOW picture of the uddeIM website with an arrow showing the bottom of the three files which I downloaded and installed.

Is there still a compatibility problem with 3.1 ?

You have installed uddeIM_3.0_j16_unzip1st.

That means you have installed uddeIM 3.0 for Joomla 1.6-2.5.

You are using Joomla 3.1, so you have installed the wrong package. The correct package is uddeIM_3.0_j30.unzip1st. So there is no communication problem.

Now you have to check the FAQ. It explains how you can clean up you Joomla database. It is a problem with the Joomla installer that most complex components have. Joomla HQ broke (again) the backward compatibility.
