simple installation question

I apologize for asking a probably really dumm question, - but I am just confused as to what to install when installing UddelM. I did it once before, but cannot find the very good tutorial where it said very simple which packages to upload.
And it seems the package has changed.

So for a normal 2.5 Joomla homepage, which component do I install after unzipping, - just the com_uddelM and nothing else ? Before it had to have the number 16 behind.

I dont have CB installed, so its just the UdellM that I would like to integrate with Kunena.
Do I need any of the others .. mod and pl's ??
You are referring me to a manual, I know that, but that doesnt seem to work. And in the readme documents I dont get any wiser.

Please check the FAQ in the README folder. It explains each package in detail and gives also an step by step introduction how to install UddeIM (its in the Joomla 1.6 section but also valid for 2.5).

Thank you for answering, - but I have two versions downloaded - 2.7_j16 and 2.8

In the FAQ it says to install com_uddeim_j16 but theres no such in the package which I downloaded as 2.8.

That why I am getting confused.

You should download the uddeIM 2.8 _16 package. I am pretty sure that you will find that package on my website.
