I've followed all advices in the FAQ, incl. chapter 1.3.6 to no avail.

When the uddeIM Notifier (version 2.8) is enabled creation/edits of any Kunena topic raise the "Fatal error: Cannot redeclare uddeIMmodCheckCB() ..." error.

The site is running:
Joomla 2.5.8 (using CB user management)
CB 1.9 (running *only* the uddeIM plugins)
uddeIM 2.8

The site was recently upgraded from:
Joomla 2.5.7 (using CB user management)
CB 1.8.1 (running *only* the uddeIM plugins)
uddeIM 2.6

because of this error, but upgrading didn't change anything.

Any ideas?

Two options:
1. You are still using an old module, plugin, CB plugin from an earlier uddeIM installation.
2. Kunena uses a copy of uddeim.api.php and not the most current one on uddeIM folder. In that case replace the copy of uddeim.api.php with the current one from udddeIM package.

Hi Slabbi,

The only version of "uddeim.api.php" on the site is stored in the folder "components\com_uddeim". Where should Kunena store its copy?

My version of "uddeim.api.php" is 15.993 bytes and comes from the "com_uddeim_j16.zip" archives "site" folder and is dated 10. march 2012. As far as I can tell this is the correct version.

I't try looking at the CB plug-ins again.

Thanks so far :-)

Ahh ... by the way:

The problem only appear when the Notifier module is enabled. As soon as I disable the uddeIM Notifier the site works as expected.

Of course, that's not the solution since we need the notifier to work :-)

I've now disabled the 4 CB Plug-ins, and a similar thing happens: When the uddeIM Notifier module is enabled almost any activity in the Kunena Forum raise the following error:

500 Internal Server Error
Fatal Error was detected!

I don't doubt that I fight against some version conflict (since the site *has* been upgraded), but I simply can't find where its hiding.

Any other ideas are most welcome :-)

Checked your site.
You have uddeIM notifier installed twice that's why you get the "Cannot redeclare uddeIMmodCheckCB() error".
