PJ recover sent messages uddeim

hello

I installed the files premium plugins and it works. But I do not know where to create the folder and how to insert the name index.html and. Htaccess, as indicated in the readme.

Sending attachments spieces are done well but when I want to recover lapj I have a 403 Forbidden error
Access to this resource on the server is denied!

I can not find or is in the FAQ. :blush:

Usually the folder is created automatically so you have nothing to do. The README explains where to find the folder and this is also explained in detail in the FAQ (installation section).

The 403 error might appear when you have a main htaccess that denies access to certain file types and you have no htaccess in the uddeIM files folder. You should also check the settings for the attachment plugin (there is one setting for direct or protected downloads).

In the read me i'v only :
Please refer to the "File attachments plugin" chapter in the FAQ
when installing the File attachments plugin. When doing an upgrade
you need to create a folder manually and you should copy two files
into that folder, so people cannot access files directly.
These files - "index.html" and ".htaccess" - can be found in the
folder "support".

And can you give me a link for the FAQ for this because i've really not found this

Have you checked the README folder in the uddeIM archive?

There are so many links to this folder and document (in the archive and in this forum), so I wonder why people do not find this document.

Now my problem is that when i want to download th file attach at my message i have the 404 Not Found
The resource requested could not be found on this server!

but the file is on the server in the good file (http://xxxx/images/uddeimfiles/logo-footer_3451bb00943f9de6f67a20cbf908312b.png)

I don't understand, can you help me

Have you tried to set the access rights for that folder to 0x777?
