SQL Error was created by teddysu81
Dear CB,

Can anyone help me with this please? Im so blind about SQL and stuff.
I have installed wrong version of UddeIM and so I need to uninstalled it.
But when I tried to follow the help in FAQ.dpf 3.2, I came up with this error:

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DELETE FROM `jos_extensions` WHERE `element`='com_uddeim'' at line 2

Can anyone help me please..

Thanks,
Teddy

Check the quotes. The last quote seems to be a double quote instead of a single one.

Here is an addition..

It seems that I have redundant files in my sql (I have installed and reinstalled joomla, which may leave files not erased yet).

I find that there is 3 different files initials:
1. petv1_xxx
2. ssdwg_xxx
3. utk9u_xxx (this is the one i am using now)

So how do I erase the leftover files?
Can anyone help me please..

Thanks..

Dear Slabbi,

I have checked again what I copied in and its correct, but the result gave me double quotes. I have tried twice.

Your tables are named petv1_* and not jos_*, so use the correct prefix instead of jos.

Ooo.. I changed the prefix AND processed it 1 line at a time and it is fixed.. Its weird that each time i processed them both together, it gave me that error.

Thanks slabbi
