Red Message Block on Message Send

Hi Everyone:

Just recently, I've started getting messages that won't send and which result in the entire message area turning RED. The messages are well below the limit set for messages. Smaller parts of the message in question send okay but something is off with this. All suggestions appreciated.

What gives on this?

I have not received one single response to my post. Even if someone responded and said I have no idea why this is happening it would feel better than being ignored!

You cannot send empty messages. This is why the message area turns red.

The message is not blank. It has substantial text in it. The message box turns red when clicking send or submit. There is also no error message to indicate the problem with the message.

The red background is only shown when an empty message is sent.

The screenshot you sent me shows an empty message field (and "5000 charaters left").

The screen with red box showed up AFTER clicking send on a substantial message with significant amount of text in it.

I can re-create this scenario if you like on my site since it is now happening frequently. Only small messages seem to not generate this result.
