Sound notification issue in J2.5 was created by Tinker
Options are missing in the xml to enable. Once added in and enabled the option still does not work using either option.

Thanks, I have fixed the XML file.

The sound notification works fine here. Are there any errors in the Javascript console? Are the sound files present in modules\mod_uddeim\mod_uddeim?

It seems to be template related. Not working on any of my yootheme warp templates. does work on joomla included templates. Still not sure why though. Thank you for the response.

found the issue. only works on my yootheme template with HTML5 setting, but widgetkit media player must be disabled as it brings up the player to play the alert
