Quick upgrade questions (uddiem 2.5 to 2.6)

Hello. I'm currently on Joomla 1.7.5, CB 1.8 and UddeIM 2.5.

I'd like to upgrade to UddeIM 2.6 but I wanted to make sure I understood the process... I read the FAQs and readme files but I'm still a little confused.

I think I can just install com_uddeim_j16 using the joomla extension manager with no other backups required since I am running on CB 1.8 and joomla 1.7.5... Is that correct?


Also, do I need to update all of the plug_, mod_ and cb_plug files as well or are they the same as the 2.5 version?

1) Yes, you can because there are no database necessary.
Please you use internal backup/restore feature to save your uddeIM settings.

2) You have to update ALL plugins, modules, CB plugins to the current version 2.6 when used!
