uddeIM backend settings was created by anadoro
Hello!

I use uddeIM without CB. The installation worked without probs. The Modules and the private messeges works but i'm not able to go to the uddeIM PMS component settings. I see the button below components but nothing happens when i click on it, i just jump over to the main joomla configuration.

i already tryed to solve it with the help of this thread: www.joomlapolis.com/forum/25-uddeim-plugin-and-component/157512-solved-j16--17--25-non-created-admin-menus . but also doesn't work for me... i see the button but nothing happens.

maybe someone could help me. thanks a lot!

The thread describes a very special problem that appears when people install the wrong package. Since you see the uddeIM menu you have installed the correct package.

The problem you describe seems to be a problem with SEF. Do you use a SEF component that modifies the URL in the backend? Try to disable SEF (note that there is also a setting in the htaccess file) and check again.

Yes i am 100 % sure that i installed the right package. And no, i don't use a SEF component. I just tryed to disable Search Engine Friendly URLs in the global configuration, but it still doesn't work.

thats really strange.

And have you also checked the SEF entry in the .htaccess file?

i have the same problem. BUT... it works in ie9, not in firefox or google chrome. So is it a template problem?
